DBS-1000 Digital Broadband Searchlight Sonar

The JMC DBS-1000 Digital Broadband Searchlight Sonar features a DSP-based digital receiver design for high-definition, wide-dynamic-range sonar images. It provides XGA (1024×768) VGA video output for crisp echograms on an optional 17" marine monitor or a compatible PC display. Operating frequency is selectable from 130–210 kHz in 0.1 kHz steps, with beam width varying by frequency. It supports multiple display modes (full circle/sector sonar with off-centering, bottom/side scanning, and echo sounder), including split-screen views. A built-in transducer stabilizer helps keep the beam locked on moving targets. It also supports NMEA-0183 I/O, audio ping output, and USB storage for settings backup and software updates.
